YILDIRIM recommends that the customer's expert personnel pay attention to the specified issues in certain periods in order to show the performance of the transformers at the factory delivery.

 

What to do by the customer:

 

   - After ensuring that the customer is qualified by the competent personnel, the energy is cut off and grounding is performed;

 

  - The terminal connections of the transformer should be checked at least once every 6 months. If there is a relaxation, it should be removed and some precautions must be taken to prevent re-loosening.

 

  - If there is oxidation and blackening of the joints, they should be cleaned and the reasons for this should be investigated.

 

 - Wave walls or radiators that serve as cooling must be cleaned, if porcelain bushing is available.

 

 - For transformers with expansion tanks, the oil level and oil color must be checked and the functions of the bucholz relay and dial contact thermometer tested.

 

 - At least once a year; If there is a desiccant element, the dehumidifier should be replaced and the sample should be taken from transformer oil and puncture voltage and power factor test should be done.

 

Please read the operating instructions supplied with the transformer carefully!

 

On-site maintenance by qualified personnel:

Things that do not require repair in the factory environment should be carried out by qualified personnel on site.

Remedy for repair faults:

On-load and on-load tap-changer faults, damaged LV and HV coils are in the class of major faults and are repaired in the factory environment.
